One of the aims of the group is to support one another by offering feedback on work brought to meetings, and to encourage each member to develop their skills. The Edinburgh Genre Group is a collaborative, Milford-style writing workshop for published and unpublished Edinburgh writers interested in writing, critiquing and publishing commercial genre fiction. We are a community of writers in the Edinburgh area and beyond, with an annual programme of competitions, workshops and expert speakers.

We meet every second Monday from September to May.
